Lydsec Keypasco Digital Technology Company Limited (hereinafter “Keypasco”), a leader in zero-trust cybersecurity and digital identity verification solutions, has announced a strategic partnership with Japan’s Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (TYO: 7912, hereinafter “DNP”) to provide integrated cybersecurity services for financial service providers. The joint offering combines Identity Verification, Device Authentication, and Transaction Verification capabilities. This collaboration is designed to counter the increasingly sophisticated and highly automated cyber threats arising from the rapid adoption of generative AI—including phishing, spoofing, unauthorized access, and fraudulent transactions—thereby comprehensively strengthening security defenses.

This service merges DNP’s technical expertise in identity verification—including electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) and the Japan Public Key Infrastructure (JPKI)—with Keypasco’s advanced solution portfolio, which features FIDO authentication, device identification, Risk-Based Authentication (RBA), and Out-of-Band (OOB) Transaction Verification. By integrating these two core technology frameworks, the companies will help financial institutions mitigate unauthorized access and fraud risks throughout the customer lifecycle, covering critical operations such as account opening, contract signing, login authentication, device or personal data modifications, and fund transfers and payments.

Lydsec Keypasco and DNP officially signed the Master Agreement on July 22, and Basic agreement on September 7th to jointly launch the next-generation Trust Identity Platform. Designed with a phased roadmap, the platform initially focuses on unifying Human Identity and Device Authentication to deliver robust access control, authorization management, and risk governance, while laying the architectural foundation for future AI Agent verification. Starting with Taiwan and Japan, the partners plan to leverage their combined global channel network to expand international business opportunities. Japan represents a massive global financial market with approximately 100 regional banks and over 200 Shinkin banks (credit associations). As Japanese financial institutions accelerate digital transformation, zero-trust architecture adoption, and passwordless authentication deployment, demand for high-security digital identity and device management solutions is surging. Keypasco aims to leverage DNP’s established local customer base and distribution channels to accelerate the commercial deployment of the Trust Identity Platform in Japan and drive overseas growth.

“This collaboration represents far more than a product and technology integration; it is the joint construction of a digital trust ecosystem,” stated Cindianne Lin, General Manager of Lydsec Keypasco. “By combining DNP’s deep-rooted resources in the Japanese financial market with Keypasco’s years of proven technological leadership, we empower enterprises to establish full-lifecycle identity governance across people, devices, and AI Agents, establishing a trust infrastructure tailored for the AI era.”

A representative from DNP noted that demand for identity verification, device management, and transaction security across the financial sector continues to escalate. The alliance will focus initially on banking, securities, insurance, and digital payment markets in Japan and Asia, delivering integrated identity and security authentication solutions to help financial institutions navigate complex cyber threats while enhancing customer experience and operational efficiency.

Looking to the future, and building on the identity, device, and behavioral verification technologies established through this partnership, the two companies will also evaluate and drive the feasibility of “Know Your Agent” (KYA). The KYA framework aims to verify the operating entity, authorization relationship, operational permissions, and execution environment of autonomous AI Agents. This initiative sets out to create a next-generation identity and authorization verification framework tailored for the AI era, providing a trusted security foundation for the practical deployment of intelligent agents.
