Keypasco recently had the pleasure of welcoming talented students from the “2026 Shalun Cybersecurity Rising Stars” program for a company visit. As artificial intelligence brings transformative change, the exchange focused on “Attack and Defense in the AI Era.” Drawing on firsthand experience from the front lines of the industry, we explored rapidly evolving cybersecurity trends and strategies for responding to them.
Moving Beyond “Seeing Is Believing”: Building a Foundation of Zero Trust
The rapid development of generative AI and increasingly sophisticated identity theft techniques are challenging traditional assumptions about security. In the digital world, “seeing is believing” is no longer a reliable guarantee. Ensuring that every access request and connection comes from an authorized, trusted person and device has become a top priority for enterprise cybersecurity.
During the visit, the Keypasco team used real-world applications of Keypasco’s core products to explain the evolution of identity authentication in an accessible way. From Zero Trust architecture and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to FIDO standards, we shared both the technical principles and practical examples, showing how cybersecurity concepts become concrete safeguards that protect business operations.
Bringing Academic Ideas and Industry Experience Together: Turning Student Projects into Professional Experience
What stood out most was not only the expertise shared by our team, but also the students’ energy and enthusiasm. During the discussion, students drew on their competition projects, technical research, and product applications to offer thoughtful and creative insights. The exchange brought fresh ideas from campus together with hands-on industry experience, sparking engaging conversations.
The Keypasco team also encouraged the students with a message: “The end of a competition is not the finish line. It is the starting point of the next journey.” We hope they will turn what they have learned through competition into practical experience, allowing the outstanding projects they build as students to become a strong foundation for their future careers in cybersecurity.
