At SEMICON Taiwan 2026, held on September 2–4 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, we had the pleasure of connecting with industry partners. The conversations reflected the momentum behind AI computing, smart manufacturing and global supply chains—and raised a question that matters throughout the high-tech ecosystem: how can we build digital environments that remain trustworthy as they evolve?
New demands on identity security
As factories become more automated and collaboration across businesses grows, the boundaries of digital services become more complex. Identity security needs to consider more than a username and password at login. Who is accessing a service, which device they are using and whether the access can be trusted in its current context all deserve ongoing attention.

Three pillars for sustainable digital trust
We have long focused on Zero Trust architecture, built around three pillars: identity identification, device identification and trust inference. Together, these provide a foundation for rethinking trust in digital environments. For semiconductor and high-tech manufacturers, our aim is to consider compliance needs alongside operational efficiency, so that security supports everyday collaboration and business operations.
SEMICON Taiwan gave us an opportunity to bring these ideas into direct conversation with the industry and hear our partners’ perspectives on future applications.

Continuing the conversation
Thank you to everyone who connected with us at SEMICON Taiwan. We look forward to continuing these conversations and exploring how identity security can support smart manufacturing and supply-chain collaboration, with digital trust as a foundation for growth.
